    Default Attack site?

Just clicked on the hunting forum link and got a warning that this is an attack site. Not sure if there's a bug here or not. when I insisted on coming here, I got this warning.

My firefox told me too, so I told it back that this wasn't an attack site (ignore the warning) and 30 minutes later it told me good, with all of firefox freezing up and non restartable until a complete reboot. I have no idea if there is any connection.

The warning said that according to google something it disapproved of was served from this site 2/3. Be good to know what something exactly, at some point, so as to allow a person to better prepare against it.

Same thing here... I wonder why it's being reported that way. That stats google reports shows nothing suspicious.

In layman's terms, it was a malicious ad that was served through Google's own ad network. Our troubleshooters indicated that it affected thousands of sites in addition to ours. The problem has been cleared up, our site was never contaminated and we are good to go.

Thanks for your patience, and a special thanks to our I.T. folks!

Thanks for the clarification on that Mike. Of course its unsettling to have google warn a guy about visiting a site; so its good to know the full story.

It seems a bit ironic that google (ad network) served the malware, and google (search) uncovered the problem caused by google ad network.... with you being the middle guy Mike. Seems like google would benefit a bit from working more with themselves a bit better...

Hmmmmm kind of like that line from Soul Asylum's song Misery.

Google's left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing, apparently.

Google chrome last night wouldn't let me get on here. I just figured whatever it to will pass, and it did.
