Default 30 inch burbot Big Lake

Just caught my first burbot measured in at 30 inches and about 8 pounds. Caught it at 9:30 PM. Only fish I saw on camera all night came in circled took my glow 6 inch tube jig W/glow head. Fished about 20ft down.

Did cook it the next morning. Boiled in water w/cup of white sugar. Melted butter in sauce pan w/garlic salt and stirred in burbot. Couldn't believe how much it tasted like king crab. Wish the limit was higher on Big Lake, but I understand the reasoning.
