    Default Spring Bear

    Hello guys I was wondering if any one might point me in the right direction for Spring bear? I do have a Snowmachine I could use to travel into hunting areas! Im in Eagle river and dont mind a drive!

    I would think just taking one of the thousands of trails around that area in the talkeetnas and maybe somewhere else but there are hundreds of posts in this site for spring bear. I am planning a spring bear hunt too. My plan is too Take a trail and go check it out on a extended camping trip. If i bag a grixz then i bag a griz if i dont see any sign i will not be coming back. But that is how all these people found their good spots. They dont want to give em up since they worked for em.
    Trying to play enough to make working for the money all worth it.

    like already said there are many trails that can take you above treeline
    or close to it. from there glass south facin slopes..most bears will appear hear first as this is where
    the first green shows itself. alot of them at the timd frame im assuming your goin
    will prolly be showing themselves when the sun comes out and staying cclose
    then head back in for the night. good luck!

    Denali hiway area is good spring snow machining and maybe a few bears around
    I can't help being a lazy, dumb, weekend warrior.......I have a JOB!

    ive never shot a bear, plan to this spring. but i have seen bear literally everywhere i have been in this state.(almost)
    I have seen many bear in the talkeetna river area, easy if you have a jet boat.
    Seen a few near hatchers
    seen a few knik river
    seen alot on the peninsula
    in my neighbor hood in wasilla
    petersville road
    bethel,nome kotz,king salmon,homer,
    Theres bears everywhere
    I say a **** ton on a bear viewing trip to katmai!
