    Default Hare Hunting in Fairbanks

I'm a full-time student at UAF and need an escape from the books. I brought my .22 up from Eagle River and I'm looking for a place close to campus where I can have a good chance of knockin down some hare. Thanks for any tips

Are you walking GL10? Geez don't say you have a gun on campus. The nut-cases running the asylum will come after you...cross the Parks and get on the powerline, head towards the blue loon. Skiis or snowshoes on the sno-go trails would be the way to go. If you have wheels, there are many other options.....

Lots of snow bunnies at the Marlin on a Wednesday for open mic night. Basically for hares, find some public land and start kicking the bushes. The powerline idea is a good place to start.
Passing up shots on mergansers since 1992.
