Default Lowa Tibet GTX Pro-Where can I try on a pair.

I'll be in Anch. this next weekend-2/9 thru 2/11 and looking for a store where I can try on a pair. Any suggestions?

    thanks

Barney's had some although not in my size (14-15). He told me they run a bit small. I ordered a pair of 15's and the fit very well. I haven't done much to test them out yet but just wearing them around town they are very nice.

Is the GTX Pro the so called "Sheep hunter"? If so, I'd also try on the lower-cuff GTX. If I recall the numbers correctly, the difference in ankle height is 10" versus 8". Personally, I prefer the fit and feel of the lower cuff. You can try those on at Boot Country on Old Seward out towards Dimond.

I believe it is called the "sheep hunter". I might give the 8" a try but I do prefer a taller boot for our muskegie areas, but the 8" could come in handy after I draw TMA.

    Thanks Brian.

He's got a walker, it's ok Brian. I want to say it's Titanium with snaps so his old miliatry poncho can be attached for an emergency Bivy.

    Just ribbing ya!

The Tibet pro gtx aren't at Barney's they have the lowa hunters. I was in last night. Boot country on old seward has the tibet pro gtx.

The Tibet pro's are closer the the hanwag Alaskans in appearance. They are not as tall as the hunters. Boot country has both the Tibet pros and the Hunters and that's it for mountain boots. Barney's has the lowa hunters, scarpa wrangells and a pair of salewa's and better service in my experience. Not that boot country was bad.
