    Default Moose/griz combo spot

Saw this webpage and thought it looked like a good spot for a moose/griz hunt:
    http://web.mac.com/spikerambler/iWeb...779DA7A1F.html
Telaquana Lake on the upper Stony River drainage. The website has alot of pics from various times of year
Obviously non res hunters would need a guide for griz, but looks good for res hunters and it says they are only 150 air miles from Anch. Park ranger station on the lake with internet so there would be good communication possible in an emergency.
Probably some good fishing there too.

I haven't hunted it in a very long time, but it is excellent for caribou as well. The moose have good genetics in the area and it could use some additional culling of the wolves and bears in the area. Anyone needing an area to hunt should give it serious consideration. It is pretty cheap from Anchorage or Soldotna.

The lake is a major spawning place for red salmon. Plenty of salmon there in fall to draw the bears.
