I'm not familiar with 7mm-08 Rem MAG brass. Perhaps you mean regular 7MM-08 Remington brass, or 7MM Rem Mag brass? Or perhaps I am about to learn something about a new cartridge...

I was thinking the exact same thing. The -08 is a smaller cartridge with less powder, while the Remington Magnum is a longer cartridge with more powder. I'm not sure what that would make an -08 Rem Mag.

The 280 Rem., changed to 7mm Express, and back again is a great cartridge. The original wildcat version was called the 7mm-06.

Worse, comes to worse, you can make it outta 30-06 brass. There will be a 2nd little shoulder on the neck after you size them with the 280 die, which will fireform out when you shoot it the first time, and the case length will probably be shorter.

SW had it last time I was in the Soldotna store, so keep an eye open at the ANC store, if they don't have it in the bin, ask and they might include it in the next order. It should also be pretty widely available on-line. I doubt you'll find any reloaders parting with theirs, unless they sold the gun, in which case many still hold on to the components anyway.
