I wish this young man all the luck in dealing with the Troopers.

PSS The pool on when the video gets deleted. I give it three days from now.

What that looked to be a fine example of sportsmanship and ethical harvesting pulse it was right on the road so now you are helping out other drivers

I like the whole 'running with a loaded rifle' part. Even your standard valley trash is 100 times smarter than that.

Troopers shouldn't have a difficult time finding him since he posted his first and last name... don't think his harvesting techniques are endorsed in the hunters safety course...

Looks like a well worn yeti path to me. I didn't see any moose crossing signs so that moose was obviously lost. Moose need to be more careful as yeti be shot in the ass.

Well, his rifle seemed to be unloaded when he first tried the shot. Does that count?

Was it just my aging eyes or did that kid shoot that illegal (without a draw tag) moose in the butt? Then not be ready for a follow up shot to put her out of her misery? Shooting from the road to the road? Not only should these boys be jailed but sterilized. Keep the gene pool clean!

Okay this one is probably getting some attention from the Troopers, so let's move along... nothing to see here...

What part of the moose itself was illegal? Don't even know if he's a resident or even what unit. So that's subjective.

At the least all he can be nailed for is shooting on/from a maintained road.

No law against losing a moose.(again, unit pending) Though I'm not aware of any unit that requires punching a tag on lost/wounded moose.

We read about plenty here who make a crappy shot every year.

No law against shooting a moose in the ass either.

So again, shooting from a maintained roadway.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Aww Mike,...it's so irresistable,.....Well, I won't comment on legality issues then,....

the thing that caught my eye was both the misfire,...and incomplete ejection and reload,...

so technically, (and giving him the benefit of the doubt here),...he wasn't running with a loaded rifle
cause he knew he had not changed out from his misfired round,....

So, no danger there,...right ?? He musta known that, in the back of his mind as he ran ??
This things safe, cause I Still have, a malfunctioning round in the chamber,.....

You can even see him looking down, while he runs,....trying to figure out what the heck he has going there now

What they were thinking ?? High Amps about finally seeing something,...??
and all alone out here,...right ??
as to the youtube posting,...wow ?!?! So Cool to be famous

I know that the Troopers have a phone number for reporting game violations, but does anyone know if they have a similar e-mail address for violations that are publicized on the internet? That would be a useful address to have on-hand.
