    Default Paxson Lake Bathymetric Map

Does anybody have the bathymetric map for Paxson lake saved, and can send it to me? F&G deleted it off of their website for some reason, and I am heading up there this weekend. I would like to see the depths of the lake and make some game plans if my spots don't produce any fish.

    Thanks

That's weird. I just notice F and G removed some of the maps. I wonder why. Lake Louise isn't up anymore either.

They're going through and updating them for 2013. I'd call F&G for copies of anything you need.

I googled it under images. They are still out there. Just not pointed to the URL it looks like they are still there

Google "lake Louise ak bathymetric" but select images.

How did you do? I was thinking of heading that way in the near future.

Pretty slow, the one day we fished my buddy had one hit the moment his jig hit the bottom, but didn't hook it. I had a big one on that I lost, and ended up landing a small laker. We marked quite a few on the vexilar, they just didn't seem to like what we were presenting I guess, or the bite up there was just not on that day. There is a ton of snow up there, so if you don't have a snow machine, it's going to suck!

Where did you fish on the lake? We were there on monday and the overflow was crap we only fished two spots and couldn't go to the other holes because of over a foot of overflow. It was the worst i've seen it in years there were waves infront of the snowmachine and if you didn't turn out in time you were done, and WET!

I was out by the cabins, we ran into some overflow as well, I noticed the snow machine slowed down, turned and looked and saw a big rooster tail of water behind us. Kinda scary for a minute but there wasn't much overflow on that end of the lake...that I encountered anyway.
