Is that just 1/4" ply supporting that one whole side, or is that a metal box? I can't tell...???

    Hi 4merguide,
yes, the whole thing is 1/4 marine ply with thickened epoxy fillets top and bottom.
I set out to build this set up as light as I can and reinforce where needed.
After flopping around in there a bit, I think this may hold up as is, if not I can put a layer of glass cloth on it.

Looks good, I'm thinkin of makin something like that for the inside of my van. Need to store stuff and get at them, but need it strong enough to set heavy stuff on and stand on, crawling in and out.

    Thanks plainsman,
if you want to set heavy stuff on yours you may want to make it a stouter than this one.
this is way light, just tough enough to sleep on, I think.

Those are good looking fillets! What are you using for filler?
