    Default Kid, dog and Dolly....

Went to set up the bear baits yesterday and couldn't resist letting Jason play with the Dollies

    Default Kenworth the dog...

was trying to help land one when the ice shelf broke that he was standing on and he got a free ride downriver on an iceberg....had the same expression that he does in the pic as he was rounding the bend and going out of sight!!

Default That fish was caught in the world famous...

Talkeetna river, just above the "S" turns. The water was beginning to rise and get muddy and the fishing was going downhill fast. Usually the water stays clear/green for awhile just after the river ice goes out, but this year it has been marginal since ice out. Got a nice rainbow shortly after this Dolly and then Kenworth the dog decided to take a trip downriver on an iceberg...aftert that the fishing died...guess the fish couldn't stop laughing long enough to bite. Next day the fishing was dead. Saw several boat heading upriver towards Clear Creek...probably great fishing up there for awhile, then the smolt will start down and it will heat up again.
