Thread: 600hp P&W sparkplugs

    Default 600hp P&W sparkplugs

So I was cleaning out the garage yesterday and I came across 28 brand new sparkplugs for a P&W.
I am moving up to Wasilla next week and was wondering how I should go about selling them and what a fair price would be?

Are you referring to the R-1340?

I used to work the old radial Otter and it sure as hell was 600 hp with a P&W 1340..... There are quite a few variations of the 1340 at least a half a dozen are 600hp rated with the blower (supercharger)

Those are the old massive electrode plugs from the military....if they don't show any corrosion you might be able to sell at 50% of the champion price. If they are the 4 post style they are a ***** to clean....

I really don't know a lot about planes, other then being around them since I could walk. I am not a pilot.

They are 600 HP, it just takes 50+ HP to pull it through the air.
