As most of us are aware, we've been engaging in some pretty heavy conversations over this past week or so. We've voiced our sorrow and rage at the horrendous killing of the children and others and we've all voiced our opinions on so many topics surrounding this tragedy.
In so doing most of us have ruffled someone else's feathers to one degree or another. I will speak for myself and would to publicly express sincere remorse for anything that I may have said that came across as a personal attack on ones character, beliefs or opinions. That is not my intent. I try to communicate my positions effectively and at times I strongly challenge others positions/opinions with the intent of engaging in civil discourse. Sometimes I fail and step on toes or cross a line not intended. For this I apologize. It is hard for me, and probably others to communicate effectively with merely type on a screen. Especially regarding these serious issues we've been dealing with. There is nothing that can replace an eye to eye meeting and face to face conversation. I think if that we were able to that here things may taken a different course over the past week. I will attempt to be more mindful of how I write what I am trying to say and hope we will all do the same.
At any rate. I'd like to sincerely wish you and yours Peace in your homes and communities this Christmas Season and throughout the coming year.
