    Several Anchorage dealer had them, then the market must have shifted.......??? And Thoughts.....???

    I think it is safe to say the lack of Sig 556 pistols around town has something to do with recent events and fears of an AWB. I have seen them around from time to time but the 556 rifle is more common. Give Ammo Can a call they seem to regularly stock that sort of firearm.
    I think the 556 pistol is the best platform to build into an SBR because you can get a folding stock, but thats just my .02 and off topic.

    Almost bought one the other day here in NC. But for me, just kind of a weird gun, and $1300 to boot.
