Default Need help for hunting rabbits

My recent back surgery will not allow me to take the grandkids hunting this winter. Just last night my grandson was commenting to my visiting sister in law how they taste like chicken and he hopes his Dad can take him. My son in law gets home today 12/20 for a week and I'm sure he would love to hear where to start. We live in Soldotna so please PM me where to go.

PS--- I have one living under my deck but he's off limit. I love to see the fresh tracks.

I have a dog who loves to hunt them! Looking for a good place too. Up north the spots are low this year, or hit hard early. We still got a few but slim pickings. I'd drive down for a good time if ya get good info on a populated snowshoe honey hole! The dog kicks them up no matter what if there are a few around. But seeing quite a few makes for a good day!

I am in Anchorage, so would need a heads up. I have not hunted my usual spots yet in Summit area, so not sure what the numbers are doin there.

Roland, we used to kill a bunch with my fearless beagle near Quartz creek right off the sterling HWY. Easy walking, no dog needed but it helps! I haven't hunted it this year but I normally do when I visit up there in winter. Beagle is now living a house life here in Coffman, no rabbits to chase here but at almost 11 he's over it ;-)
