I can't do the 15th, I'm busy on Tuesdays. How about the 17th?

Personally, I was planning on arranging a mid-February gathering. I'll be flying solo for a couple of weeks there and personally prefer to do it then. That's not to say that there can't be more than one...but I'll be planning one for February.

Sounds like a plan to me! Just let us know ahead of time so we can all plan. All 5000 members or however many there are People have to make flight arrangements you know.

(and i meant plan not play)

Up here in AK I am in the real world. The lower 48 is full of Evil, hate, crazies and land hungry individuals not want to share for the better of the citizenship. Living up here kinda takes me back to when I was a young boy in Missouri and no one really cared if you crossed their fence as long as you weren't there to do bad intent or ill will. Alot less hassle up here as long as you mind you P&Q's.

Hahahaha. Yeah, take a walk through the interior. That's some scary ****. But I get your intent. People are a lot nicer here. Hike a trail and you'll find someone to converse with for an hour. Anywhere else you won't ever catch an eye.

Haha. Reminds me of solo hiking Granite Tors in Fairbanks, meeting a stranger, and spending the rest of the day with her.

I moved from Canada to Alaska, and found that people are way more forthright here, for better or for worse. No second guessing how people feel. If you tick someone off they will tell you, instead of waiting till you're out of sight and then leaving a note on your car. And random strangers engage you in conversation in the grocery store way more than in Canada.

I'm in. Post date and times whenever convenient.

haha. Yup!! They are straight up. I'm from NE of Philly and once talked to an older gentleman at eklutna lake that had ran a trap line 50 feet from my house on a creek in the 50s. It was awesome!

HuntAK, how long have you been out of Philly??? I am sitting in the South Philly Home Depot typing this. One of the stores I cover. Unfortunately, the City hasn't changed much. I live just south in Delaware County. Have a great Christmas up North.
