Default A(nother) Wooldridge is born...blue water version

The first picture of the 2013 Wooldridge Super Sport Pilothouse that the crew in Seattle just started.

This is my father's boat and it will be used in PWS to get friends and family back and forth between Valdez and our cabin about 30 miles out. It was decided to get a little something faster and more fuel efficient. We had a great experience with an inboard 23' Super Sport Drifter build used for interior rivers a few years ago, so that was certainly one of the deciding factors to do it again with Wooldridge....it's gonna be another loooong winter.2012.12.6 008 c.jpg

Nice. Will this be one of the 29 footers?

Keep the pics coming. This is one of the top boats on my list when I replace my current rig. Can't wait to see it.

You will like having the bottom extended all the way back. I made that modification a couple of season ago. Looking good.

Her's a few more from Grant and the boys.

The old boat had a few dings in the smooth painted bow, so we decided on the diamond plate up front for a little protection while bring up anchor.

Nice idea, the best part is that you are getting to make it the way you want it. Feels great doesn't it? :-)

I really like the diamond plate on the front. That makes total sense! Are you going to add an anchor roller bracket to the front. We anchor out a lot so my next boat will have provisions for a double anchor roller.

Have heard of these, supposed to take a lot of the swing away while on the hook, after a few nights getting whipped around in the sound, would like to have had one!

Might see what the wooly boys recommend.......now would be the time to do it, have it done right from the factory and not want to scab something together later on on that shiny new boat!

Congratulations by the way, looks like she'll be a sweet ride!
