    Default Looking for advice on a good horn carver?

    Well plan on getting my ram from last year carved.Have an idea of doing both horns and displaying it as a euro mount.Have no idea about good carvers though.Kinda be cool to use Tony Russ seen he does them.Anyone ever got any sheep horns carved and who did you let do the work?

    Kotton cant think of his name but sure someone knows but there is a really good one down on the Kenai just outside of soldotna I also know one out here in the valley and will try to get his info for ya and pm you..

    Kotton.. Forum member.TJM Ted, Meyers, used to be here on the forum all the time... he should still be able to be located on the Trapper.com forum.. ( i forget the full name)NOT the AOD trappers forum.. he did awesome work.. his avitar on all his forums is his carvings..

    + plus for Tom Cooper. Take a drive and see his work. Just a couple miles before getting in Soldotna on the right. Can't miss his sign.

    +1 on Ted Meyer, he used to live in Eagle River, not sure if he has moved.

    I just want to say that I admire all the carvers that are mentioned on this forum. My name is Buddy Donaldson and I am also a horn carver.
