Not sure if you'll get much out of that cause it shuts you off at $100. So you have to swipe your card again and start over. At that point I don't think you get your discount again, hopefully I'm wrong on that.

    Hey buddy,

Remember those little hooligans that I brought down to you this past summer for halibut bait???? I would definitely take those points off your hands if you haven't given them away yet. Just PM me if you still have them. You probably still have my phone number too.

    Best regards,

    Byron

Safeway in Fairbanks has taken it one step further.. 25 gallon limit on your discount.

I don't think that it is just Fairbanks where that is going on. According to Safeway's webpage FAQ (http://www.safeway.com/IFL/Grocery/RewardPoints-FAQ), it is the standard they are using everywhere. Means the $.40 discount saves someone a max of $10.

Safeway in Palmer limits you to 25gal also... sucks when you have a 36gal tank. Fred meyers lets you get 35gal or $150 with a credit card.

Here is a little known secret, if you use two pumps , like when fueling a boat and truck at the same time, you can get the discount on both pumps. Just make sure to start both pumps before finishing the first transaction. I know this works at Freddies, not sure about Safeway.

Read the little sticker right on the pumps in Anchorage that say that the discount is limited to 25 gallons. You think that safeway is going to give money away?

The 25 gallon limit has been Safeway policy for quite some time.

The lack of ethics in some folks simply amazes me. Running 2 pumps at the same time just so you can double-dip a coupon code is the same as shoplifting inside the store. Yes, it is.
    Winter is Coming...

    Go GeocacheAlaska!
