    Caught him this summer in PWS. Anyone know what he is?

    Hard to tell from the pic but it looks like a Northern.

    Thanks, I googled images of "spiny Shrimp" and they were all his relatives. Never caught one before. Wife and I are working on a photo calendar and didn't want to just call him "Shrimp, Prince William Sound"

    Thanks for posting this my wife and I got one of these little guys this summer too and had no idea what kind it was.
    Part of the fun out there is just seeing the weird things that come up in the pots.

    We've caught 2 of the ugly little spiny shrimp over the last 3 years. I ate both of them since they were too ugly for others to partake!

    spiny lebbeid is the official name. Caught a few of these as well.
