Default New to Alaska and want to duck hunt

Anyone know someone who can take me and a buddy out duck hunting? We are new to the state and want to go out with someone that knows the area. All I can find online is high end multiple day hunts. We are looking for a one day or weekend hunt. Thanks

The water is kind of hard for puddle ducks right now. There a few guys on here that try to put together a sea duck hunt, and I think there is a thread on that already done the page.

Lots of birds out there but you need to find soft water. Think "Salt" or Call Buck at Seldovia Hunting Charters and get out on one of his 3 day hunts. You will be glad you did. Duckdon

I want to get out for some sea ducks but I just dont have time right now. Next puddle duck season hit me up. I can always use a hunting partner. Some days I just cant scrape one together.

If you want some mallards around here, walk the creeks, never know what might jump out of the pockets of open water. Some mallards stay around here all winter, I see them flying over Wasilla lake almost every day, and the season is open I think until Dec 19th. Birds are here, you just have to work for them. Bud
