+1 on Dahlberg's. I learned him word of mouth and from being at friends' homes with his work. Best **** caribou shoulder mount I've ever seen. Excellent realism.

Since then he's done a bear for me. Brought it by 17 Sept, likely have it back by Christmas.

Everyone I know has had great things to say about Dahlberg's. He's even a half way decent hunter too
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

I've always had great service and wonderful taxidermy from Hoytguy. Give him a call; you'll not be disappointed.

I guess if you can find someone to do it that quick, then great. But it really is pretty easy to do yourself......

And not everyone has the time, know how and edge for a DIY project like that. But it certainly pays for a network ability to find a top notch guy willing to deliver last minute.

Yes, I understand that, and "at the last minute" is the key here. I don't know many taxidermists that will stop what they are doing because somebody needs something right now.........heck....don't we ALL want our stuff now...???....lol. Just saying if he has the resources all a guy really needs is a plaque (you can buy at the store), some of that sculpt-a-mold (sp?) stuff, and a piece of velvet or leather. It can easily be done nicely in a couple days. But I guess a guy does have to have a bit of talent as well.......lol.

It's very possible it was my bear. Jesse has done three brown bears for me and at least three more for some of my hunting partners. I just can't find anything bad to say about him.
