Default Palomar knot for tippet to fly?

OK guys, I will be the 1st to admit hat I am "Knot challenged".
Last year when learning to bead fish I discovered the Palomar knot for tying the hook to the leader. It seemed to work great & was easy for a clumsy bi-focaled guy to tie.
Any reason it isn't a good tippet to fly knot?

No reason at all. It's my go to knot for every lure or fly I tie on.
Your bait stinks and your boat is ugly

Thanks, just seemed too easy, strong, & fast compared to others

Plus that FG. Vance Lefy Kreh revised knot book is darn cool and opens up some additional leader to line, tippett to leader, tippett to fly etc..

I am lazy my-self and for trout and grayling rigs I cheat and use the Loop System with a braided but loop leader and just use tippett however that does not work in all situations i.e. water depth, direct down and line high stick fishing in some cases etc.....

The revised knot book is available at Barnes and Noble as well as Sportmans Warehouse.

I'll use it when I'm not changing flies often, but it uses way too much tippet for frequent changes. It's also a problem with small hook eyes relative to the tippet diameter. If the tippet won't fit through the eye twice, no dice.

    Thanks for trhe input guys.
I will find Lefty's new book. Good bathroom reading (I mean that in a good way...)
CMO1977, I have that sight bookmarked. That's where I found the Palomar last year!
