    Default Night fishing

Does anybody fish at night? Other than tip ups. I'd like to do week day fishing after work but dont really know if anything bites after dark. Any advice Or experiences I'd appreciate

We were after pike one evening (well after dark), had two tip-ups out and also using two jigging rods with Krocodile spoons. The tip-up closest to us tripped 3 times, but we came up empty and our whole herring was gone each time. About 10 minutes later, we got a good fish on one of our jigging rods, and pulled up a beautiful, fat 23 inch rainbow. Another 15 minutes after that, we caught it's twin. When we gutted those fish, we found every one of the herring we lost earlier.

Last year I fished in town until 3:00 am. one night. We caught rainbows and char all night long using glow in the dark jigs with bait.
Your bait stinks and your boat is ugly
