Default My Favorite Hunting Partner's Bou......

Yep, there is nothing like hunting with my Wife or my kids!
Wife's bou from 9/18/12, near Clearwater Creek off the Denali Hyw. While we were gutting her bull, a herd of maybe 100 bou came trotting by no more than 50yds from us there were two nice bulls in the herd, that was pretty cool too!

I took my caribou in the same area on the same day. There were a lot of animals moving around that day before the huge rain storm that night.

The herd with the two bigger bulls went out toward the road, we heard someone else shoot, thinking they got one of the bulls. This was about a mile west of Clearwater creek just before dark! When we got back out to the road there some a truck parked there, prolly out gutting one of the biggger bulls!....grin

THX, I'm lucky, she's always happy and loves to hunt & fish and all things outdoor.

Very cool........you're a lucky man...!!! Really neat bez on that critter....almost looks like they should be the top points rather than the bez. That's what's so great about caribou.....seemingly endless antler configurations.

    Congrats...!!!

Gorgeous Bou! Love the single shovel with the distinct points. Now if I could convince my wife to take one, but that's it's own challenge....
