You might want to mention where you're going to be. It's a big state.

If you could arrange to have the plane in soldotna for while I would be glad to assist you. I am a CFI and do primary and tailwheel training. My rate is $30.00 per hour. If you are interested send a Private message.

I might be able to help- I am a CFI in Anchorage.

    Please send me a pm.

    Doug

PS- MauleCFI- did not know there was any flight training in Soldotna. Do you have a plane for rent, or just work w/ people that own their own?

There are quite a few independent CFIs in Soldotna and Kenai.
Plus there is MARC, Missionary Air Repair Center, in Soldotna and they do CFI work.
A few miles away in Kenai you have the Alaska Flying Network, run by Chip Vershaw. Plus the aforementioned independent CFIs.

In Ninilchik you have Frank Miller

Down here in Homer there is myself and Tom Young.

The monthly meetings of the kenai Peninsula Flight Instructors often brings in 20 or more CFIs.

I do have a Maule M-5 that I rent on a dual basis for tailwheel or off airport landings. Not a great plane for primary training, so I go to Alaska flying network for my primary students.
