    Default good news but sad

Good news, but sad really... that we have to jump through hoops to get rights that are already ours and supposed to be "unalienable and GOD given".

Guess the National park system thinks they are better than God.

    Default Check A.R.

There is a news article about this in the newest NRA American Rifleman magazine. Seems some Park Service people want to spend lots ($million$) of taxpayer money to hire sharpshooters to control deer & elk populations in some National parks, and some folks in Congress are saying "wait a minute, why not let hunters take care of the problem" (duh). Some even siad that the NPS has overstepped in its interpretation of fireams use/possession in parks.

    Interesting stuff.

It says in the Denali Park website, with great certainty that "you do not need a firearm to defend yourself"...so I guess they're at least working very closely with the man upstairs! Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any experience with park rangers checking for firearms?....Louis
