    Default Last of the Mohicans...

    End of an era.
    End of an era.

The last of the manual-locking FOLBE side-mounts has come off the factory line. Wonder if we hold onto them long enough that they'd someday be a collector's item? J/K.....

Folks have been asking for some time now, and the long-awaited moment is finally here. Spring-loaded self-locking mounts will be the only kind produced from here forward.

    Thanks Billie and Art!

The new side mounts are a total redesign with a compression spring mechanism for an ultra secure lock on the holder. The only part that's the same is the 4-hole bolt pattern.

The biggest benefit will be for those purchasing new rodholders, esp those considering the new downsized FOLBE Jr. Smaller sleeker more compact design that a few of us have been running since August.

These will be available retail in the New Year.

    Doc,

Do you know if they'll be selling the spring loaded, self locking mounts seperate? It sure would be nice.

After using other rod holders Folbes are number one in my book. This improvement makes them even better.
