    Default Reel Engraving?

Adding a few more Avet's to my arsenal, one of which will be on a custom built jig rod. I would like to add the personal touch to the reel as well. Anyone know of where this can be done?

Check with a gunsmith. Dollars to donuts, he'll have a gun engraver he uses. Waiting lists are long if they're good, though.

Another option would be to check with a trophy shop. They're all set up to do flat plates, but might be able to work with you or direct you to someone that can. I don't remember the name of the outfit right now, but there's a big trophy shop in Anchorage we've used before.

    Thanks BB,

Anyone have a gunsmith in mind that does exceptional engraving work?

You may already have thought of this, but have you tried asking this question on the "Alaska Gunsmithing" forum (http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/...-Gunsmithing)? Bet you'd find a good answer there.
