I want to be among those to congratulate you. Way to go man! I enjoy hunting bears. The fact your able to find beautiful chunks of wilderness with stable populations of this magnificent predator to match your wits against is magnificent. I've always considered a bear trophy the ultimate symbol of the wilderness. Your a steward of that now too. I hope your future holds many great conversations that build and support our hunting heritage due to this bear.
I hope you budgeted for the taxidermy of that bruin. 10', ouch!! That or be really good friends with a taxidermist. I suspect you've got one former sheep taxidemist that won't be getting a call. Grin! If you haven't already decided on your taxi, PM me and I'll get you directed.
Thanks guys for all the complements.Just about done cutting up my meat.I'll hopefully write up the hunt later today, maybe hunt-ak will let me post it on that cool website.
