    Default Swarovski softcase

Were can I get a soft case for my Swarovski ATS65 (straight), for a good price. Right now they are listed at $200. To me for a soft case that is crazy.

    Thanks

For all the money you paid for a Swarovski, is there any particular reason you wouldn't get a Doskocil hard case for the added protection?

Yeah and thats the sale price!! Talk about paying for a name! If you are in anchorage, you might try alaska tent and tarp. I know they do custom work and they might be able to make a neoprene one for you for less.

Man...I bet I could sew one of those up myself! $200 is a lot of coin for a neo sock!

    Default scopecoat

scopecoat is a company that makes neoprene covers for scope etc. They can also custom make covers. Maybe check them out.

    Default REI blue sit pad

    Mtcop,
If you are looking for a cheap, multi-use, effective scope protector, I suggest using a blue rei square foam sit pad. Rolls up perfectly around my Swarovski AT65. As a plus, the pad is also the bottom 1/3 of my sleeping pad system, and gives you a dry place to sit while glassing or having lunch.

When rolled around the scope it fits perfectly in the side pouch of my pack bag. Several game bags in the bottom of that long side pocket protect the objective end of the scope if I accidentally tip my pack over.

True lightweight multiple use gear, and the price can't be beat.

    Good luck and have fun!

    -Chris

I have a buddy that works for Tent and Tarp here in Fairbanks I bet I could talk to him and see if he could do one up. He has made a soft case for a spotting scope before and it turned out real nice but its aint nothing fancy like was you showed on that website, but it is very fuctional. Let me know sone dimensions and Ill give it to him and see what he can do.
