What are the different types of shrimp typically caught out of Whitter, (colors, sizes...)and most importantly, do some taste much better/worse/differently then others do?

almost forgot the slightly important part....What exactly is required to shrimp? Permit, fishing license, etc...
and estimate of pricing?
i catch alaska spots and side stripes. the biggest ive gotten was like about a foot long with the head attatched. it was a monster. If I'm correct, you don't need a shrimping permit any longer. You needed one in previous years becuase ADF&G was doing tests on population.
