Default My wall has a tenant !!!

Well it finally made it!!! Many may remember my hunt last year with Mike. Well Knight's taxidermy did a fantastic job! I worked with Russell to come up with a more interesting mount and I think that we nailed it. The package made it in a little more than 2 weeks and weighed 210 lbs. It was a heck of a job trying to mount it on the uneven rock and it took 3 of us. I wish the I would have put it up about 6 more inches but I'm NOT redoing it. The bottom of the nose is 72" off the floor but I'm short so it's not a problem and I can enjoy some of the detail more.

Good looking mount, Tom. The brush and trees really add to it.

Very nice, sure doesn't take much imagination to see him throwing his head back and forth as he comes through the trees!!! Perfect spot on the fireplace

Nice looking mount! It sure is tough to wait a year ( or more in some cases ) for your finished mount to be returned. That one looks like it was worth the wait.

Nice Job do you have plans on giving it an official name Like Hank the Moose? Thanks for sharing a very nice job indeed.

Considering who his hunt partner was, Michael the Moose might be more fitting.

Looks really good Tom, Knights did a good job. Could you imagine getting that while you were still active duty and having to move it around every 4 years!

I like that! We may have to have a poll or contest to name him.

Thought that I would throw in a reminder or for those that are thinking to themselves he was 56 1/2"

I suppose Gunny Moose would work. Tom, you should start a poll it is the season to do such eh. I can see it now 48 % of undecided hunters for both names have choosen. I am all in except Blue Moose can't be an option. :-) Mikey Da Moose kinda sorta rings I am sure Mr. S would appreciate the props!
