    Default Trim Tabs on Sportjon

I have a 2006 Sportjon with the 200optimax. The one thing that I wish I could change though is the speed at which I must maintain to stay on plane. I have been around trim tabs on airboats and they seem to make a huge difference. If anyone has suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Check out the Scott trim nozzle that The Boat Shop carries. It is better than trim tabs.

You could try playing with the ride plate and see if that helps planing speeds. Not sure how much effect it would have. It is like one big trim tab, but not adjustable on the fly.

    Default Cost

Do you know how much those units cost and what does it take to install that setup.

Trim nozzles cost $2800 at the boat shop. I think they install it for you
