    Arrow Bow Case?

As far as rifle cases go, you can get waterproof cases from Doskocil, Pelican, and others. For bows, it seems that they are expensive and only offer a small "o-ring" seal. Does anyone have experience with a waterproof bow case that you could strap on the back of a wheeler and cross rivers with, get it wet and muddy but still protect your archery gear?

    Default For What It's Worth....

I resigned myself to a backpack to carry my bow on a 4-wheeler. The bow is not protected from water, however, but the system I have seems to have it riding secure and safe from getting whacked and jostled around. The pack I got is an Eberlestock X-Project EXC Bow/rifle backpack from Sierra Trading Post. The bow is cradled in a back "pouch" with a harness system that goes around the riser to center it on the pack. I was riding in 3 hours straight of constant rain the other night and all of my gear inside the pack was still dry. FYI!

Sorry for going Lazarus on this thread, but I found a couple...

SKB makes a good looking one now but it also is REALLY spendy

Also, who stocks a good selection of the pelican case line? I'm fairly certain I would be able to find one that fits (and yes, I know I can look up dimensions online), I just want to try it first!

Gary, do you have the SKB that was linked to in my previous post? If so/not how do you like it or what do you have?

I'm just looking for something to protect the bow while being thrashed on a wheeler and then get thrown on a plane on luggage belts, get rained on, get mud slinge don it and everything in between and the bow to be protected....

My military case is that one and it's great. Really tough and very water tight.

Where did you get yours? I see the MSRP is 350, but a quick search online found them ~$275...

The Military bought it. So I have no clue on where they got it from.
