    Question PWS Blackies

Has anyone had any luck so far out of Whittier? What are the conditions like in Whittier, campground, parking etc?

    Default No Sightings

Flew out to PWS on Saturday. Lots of snow in northern PWS. No significant ice in open water, but a plenty in the smaller bays like 3-Fingers, Jackpot. Southern PWS looked better, lots of snow slides. But I didn't see any bears nor anything I was convinced was an open den.

Thanks. I talked to the harbormaster's office today. She told me that they are starting to plow the parking area across the tracks.
