Default Support for a Duckhunting Club/Association/LLC/Corp in Alaska

Without going into great detail. Would you support a Duckhunting, Waterfowling Organization or Association in the State of Alaska that was owned and operated by its members? Knowing that members would be obligated to provide volunteer time, finances, experience, project planning, developing and general support in preserving the waterfowling heritage.

Would like the general poll done for statistics. Although if you answered a question below, please try to seriously explain why or why not.

    Thanks

Personally being pulled in too many directions at the moment. I'm not saying there aren't committed people out there but success and consistent leadership take a heavy toll if left to a few. If it does get off the ground ill try to rub elbows and participate intermittently.

It won't let me vote, but I'd be in the "Yes, I am in!" category.

Would be great to hear from the 4 that voted yes dependent on mission statement. What are you looking for to bump you to the I am in category. No wrong answers here and no judgement just wondering.

I voted "yes I'm in", but that could be dependant on my agreement with the direction this would be going. I still thing this needs to start off loose, not worry about LLC, or any such formality. I'd like to see a meeting sometime mid Nov of those interested in just getting together and discussing a direction for the club, or first, if a club would be supported by the community. My guess if we posted a date and location, less then half a doz would show up. Bud

DuckHUnter01, you know I'm in once I make it back to Ak. That may be a couple years, but eventually. Until then I'd support from afar however I could.

We can work with 15-20 interested duckhunters... Sounds like a great start.

For those interested. Please email me at AlaskaDH01@gmail.com or Bud at budbassc21@yahoo.com would prefer you CC us both.

If you prefer a PM, I can work with that as well. The reason we ask for emails is so we can consolidate a list of contacts and future members and openly discuss among everyone what we all want and expect out of an organization/club for waterfowlers in Alaska.

Bud is planning on setting up a meeting in the future. I will let him shed the light on that later.

I know there are more out there that woudl join if it was already established. Going through the ground work and seeing who is interested and who is not is the hard part. it will grow with time and as the number of members increase. I am sure Alaska will support this.

    Thanks
