    Default 12 volt cig plug in a bravo.

    Can this be done? Anyone with experience?

    Yamaha Bravo? Picking up accessory power can be done easily enough...but. Haven't messed with a Bravo for many years, but if memory serves, I believe you'll find the electrical system is the same as older Tundra and Tundra II (and probably lots of other sleds); AC, not DC.... The headlight circuit is a clean and simple place to pull accessory power, so long as you're looking for 13v AC.

    It your wanting 12v DC you need is a 1 amp fuse, 1 amp diode, and a small 12v battery or another method is to use a regulator in place of the battery. I prefer the battery because if turns off the sled and you loose 12v .

    Thanks for the replies, guys. I forgot there is a "modification" forum. I dug out a kit I have used on Polaris machines in the past and installed it on the Bravo. I posted a tutorial thread in the mod forum. There is another thread there to do the same thing without a pre made kit.
