See if there are any numbers on your old one. Then do a search on yahoo for one using the numbers. Amazon, Ebay and others should come up.

Can you get the number off the back of the motor...
Do I give my friends advice? Jesus, no. They wouldn't take advice from me. Nobody should take advice from me. I haven't got a clue about anything..

Check out this outfit, i just ordered some for my rig. They are close to 200 bucks on line but this outfit has them on closeout. I've dealt with them for many years mostly with hydraulic components but they have all kinds of goodies. You be "whippin" those windows again in no time

I have used Imtra's (online) and API's (west margin). Customer service and the process at imtra's was very good for me. I put duel speed motors on. Needing new motors for my ocean boat and not having time to order them online, I picked up 2 API's from the local shop, (also duel speed). Both are working fine, but for some reason the IMTRA's are my preferred wipers. All said, I favor the Imtra's...

Besides the two speed motor, Marinco (AFI) makes a intermitten switch, I put one on the riverboat, rather handy when its just a light rain or ocasional spray, handy to not have to turn the wipers on & off all the time.

I found some new replacement motors on e-bay last winter, the seller had quite a few to choose from.....they turn up if you have time to wait......

Well I just ordered a couple of the 38001-01's for mine. Looks like the shaft is a half inch longer, but I can backspace it with a piece of UHMW or something if it causes issues.

I'd think the spring on the wiper arm will take up any extra for the shaft length or a backer will be fine. They'll never see it from the beach !!

No kidding, find the best price online than take it to WM; have saved $$$. They will match any advertised price as long as the seller is legitimate. If WM doesn’t have it at the store they will have it shipped to the store at no cost.

Thats what I'm thinking Steve. Maybe a little spacer or just let it be the way it is. I can't complain about getting two 2 speed motors for $92.00 shipped to AK.

OK. Got the wiper motors in the mail yesterday. They look very nice. I compaired them to the AFI models at West Marine today and they are identical. Down to the color coding paint on the connections. Now since my 05 Hewes used the older style wipers, I need to find some new pantographs. Deweys has them but they are 4 inches too short. Might be able to use a longer wiper blade to make up the difference, but I'm still looking. Any idea on where to find cheap arms?

Dont buy cheap panto arms, they dont last.....the swivel will come apart, I did get some premium ones from AFI and they seem pretty good so far

So, now the question is do I move the wiper motors to the top of the window or leave them below? What is the benefit to being above? Less water contact? Visibility?
