Thread: Dollys in November?

    Default Dollys in November?

I'm going to be on Prince of Wales Is in early November. Any reason to think the Dolly fishing could be any good at that time? Thanks for help.

November is spawning season for them, so there will be lots in full color. I'd expect great fishing, even though I've never been there. Anywhere else I've fished them in November, it was wild. And lotsa bigger fish.

Awesome, thanks BrownBear. I'm excited about the trip. Any other fish in the streams at that time? Cutthroat, for example? Anybody else fished POW at that time of year?

They were always a pain in the rear when in Ketchikan when I was tryign to chse steelies at that time, so I'd say POW should be good.

I'll be bringing some steelhead flies too, for sure... Just dont' want to set my sights too high and would be thrilled with some good dolly fishing and a few for the frying pan. Sounds like it's a reasonable bet...
