    Default winterizing 200 optimax

Just recently purchased a predator with a 200hp merc optimax and was wondering what is all intailed in winterizing the boat? I have Fogged it, filled the fuel tanks and added stabilizer, Pulled the sand trap and drained, is there anything else that might need to be done. I was thinking of pulling the gear lube out of the the impeller, but was planning on just replacing the fluid in the spring before the first run. Any comments would be nice its a big purchase to neglet a little item that would screw up everything.

Winterizing to me means to remove water from areas where it may cause damage when it freezes, like in a water pump. When fall comes I always run boat engines for a few seconds after removing them from the water to help get the water out. Protecting the cylinders is secondary. I've never used fuel stabilizers.
