    Default Finally saw a rabbit...

Of course I was walking the dog in the neighborhood! Any how, it was still all grey/brown, NO white on it yet, I was kinda surprised it hadn't turned at all yet. Also the first rabbit i've seen in a few months, i'm going to be skinny by the end of winter!

I went out this morning with a buddy looking for either rabbit or grouse and we didnt see a thing. It was very quiet. We brought home more rabbits and grouse when we went "moose hunting" back during moose season lol. Not sure, but we had a system move in and it did start to snow lightly so maybe they could sense it coming.

Had a hare in my backyard the other morning, almost got him with my 20 ga. but he ran right when I shot! Pretty good size hare, it was mostly brown/grey with multiple spots of white. Been waiting for it to come back, wont miss this time

Saw two tonight, didn't get a single shot off! Both were still all brown, I'm surprised they haven't started turning yet?

Same here. I dont know about down there but we have had a good dusting of snow three times here now and I would think with the cool down and the dustings I would THINK that it would push them into changing to their winter coats.
