    Default 5 october

Had a chance to skip work this morning and do what I love! Beautiful morning, light west wind, then calming around 8:00. Did not seem to be as many birds at first light as normal. A few scraglers, and aroung 945 was able to pick up 2 pintail. Saw maybe 100 birds total. Mostly closer to the inlet. Still a fine morning to be alive and get muddy. No geese where I was. That I know of anyways, usually here them but nothing.

A day in the marsh, and 2 pintails is much better than going to work. Good job on what sounds like was a fun day!
