    Default 2012 Matsu flood footage

Some clips of Moose, Little Su, and sections of Willow at high water. If the end of times ever becomes obvious, and if these streams just happen to be flowing like this, help yourself to a quick trip to the other-side.

The footage does not grasp the power and size of the water, like it was standing beside it. It was scary; and at the same time with the blowing mist it seemed magical, but the feel of danger was over powering like a breathing monster beckoning anyone who dares to try and take it on.

I was running a tracked skidsteer 10' from the Big Su at 2am (dark!) on Saturday morning when it peaked. In the dark you could feel the POWER of all that water going by. I stopped the machine several times because it sounded wrong, only to figure out it was the river making all the noise.

Thank you for sharing! Any boater can see the power and overall nastiness of these creeks at the high water levels!

Did the flooding extend up as far as Caribou creek? That would have been entertaining to watch.
Watching the vid, I was surprised at the lack of debris in the water.
