    Default Maud road closure

Well...I work all week, and may fly out if the road is closed, I would like to go with u but can't until weekends... I just need to know if it's open to confirm plans for the weekend... Thanks and I hope we can work something out sometime.

From a buddy - "There is a road closed sign at the beginning of the dirt road, but the road isn't any worse than when everyone hunted it this past weekend. The sign is off to the right, so we figured we'd just drive around it and take a look, maybe clear any trees that had fallen in the last few days. To our surprise, not only was the road no worse than it had been on Saturday, but there were also several rigs down at the boat landing who were hunting."

I'd guess if you're willing to drive around the road closed sign you'll be able to put in & hunt.

There is plenty of room to drive around, glad some people are, i won't feel bad next time. Thought i drove back there late spring and they were working on that little crossing, kinda big holes that have formed in a short time, nothing there on thursday.

The DOT guys were out there messing around the night it flooded. I would assume it was them or maybe the burough.
