A friend let us borrow the dog Friday night to retrieve for us because he wouldn't be able to show up till mid Saturday. It was a fun night hunt but on the 4 wheeler ride back to camp the dog ran ahead right past camp and wasn't to be seen again. We drove the 4 wheeler around that night but he wouldn't show. The next day when our friend showed up he unexpectedly brought his young boys ages 5 and 7. Breaking the news to them wasn't easy. All Saturday and Sunday was full of running the river and 4 wheeling looking. When we left camp our friend left a shirt lying on one of the bunks in the cabin and I left the door open. Today when we went back after work the old dog was curled up on the bed and it was an awesome sight with the kids.
