Went out this morning with duckslayer56 and had a pretty good shoot. Nothing hot and heavy or anything, but consistent enough to scratch out a limit by noon. Also looks like some new birds are showing up, we shot a two man limit of wigeon. Saw a lot more swans today, too, and some high flyers.

HAHAHA. Sounds like you needed my boat for your trail this year! If you wanna go duck hunting (didn't know a moose hunter like yourself would lower himself to shooting web-footed birds), shoot me a PM and we'll figure something out.

You don't want those lowly moose hunters to jinx your boat do you?

It's just a 14' Jon I restored and beefed up the transom and put an 18hp copperhead, lights, and a blind on it.

Yeah, but you know how it goes... I can think of about 6 places off the top of my head to put a boat in and do some duck hunting. As soon as someone sees what parking lot it is, it'll be world war 3 in there tomorrow! Not that I don't trust some of you guys, but you never know who the "visitors" are that are looking at these threads along with us!

I do have to admit, that is one fine looking duck strap those ducks are hanging on!

I actually carry around a sheet of plywood painted black with a cutout of me. I hold it up around me so anyone who sees me can't really tell where I am. It doesn't work that well, though.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I don't think he blacked anything out. That's just what the weather has been doing lately...
