    they must trim off the good parts to take home ?? When we goin' fishin' again? I'm just waiting for this weather to settle a bit, boat is ready, camper is ready, lets go !!

    I'd love to go again. Was down there before all this rain and did well. Planned to head back but with all this now not sure when we will be able to. Let me know if you go.

    yup the black codders seem to have the problems with whales stripping off the fish.

    I gave up longlining for halibut before they set up the IFQ program due to killer whales leaving me nothing but halibut lips and bent hooks. Seeing one with a bullet hole through the dorsal fin finished it for me. I wasn't going there!
