    Default atv to susitna flats

Just wondering if anyone has taken an atv to susitna flats from pt mckenzie. Trail conditions and distance from parking lot?? Any information would help. Obviously not this week after all the rain, but sometime soon.

It's a bad trail, and to get far enough would take a long time, and then youd have to walk in from there. Wheeled it once, fly over it a lot.
It's not skybusting if you fold em'.

Are there any birds on this side of the flats? Or is all the good hunting on the beluga side?? Do you see many wheelers on the trail when you are flyn? Just trying to see if its worth the attempt for some good bird hunting

if you want a atv trip for ducks and geese, try the chickaloon flats, its very doable, and lots of geese and ducks, better hunting. If interested, look up a thread on it from this same time last fall. Bud
