    --------------------------------------
There are at least 32 confirmed dead in the shooting at Virginia Tech University, making it the worst campus shooting in American history. Law enforcement officials believe the gunman was firing at least one 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

Do you think this incident is a reason to pass stricter gun control legislation?

No. Violent shootings are isolated incidents and it's irresponsible to link them to gun control.

Yes. This shows the violence that can occur when someone has access to handguns.

I'm not sure. I need more information.

Default FYI on this and Other Polls

When you vote, they can trace the link back to this site, unless you Copy/Paste the link into your own web browser. That way the votes aren't coming from a very pro-shooting site. Sometimes, if they see a lot of votes coming from pro-gun sites, the polls mysteriously get shut down...

Good point, I always knew they could do that, but never thought of what it could do to slant the results of an online poll.

You bash the news media constantly....and then trip over each other to play their games?

If you vote on ABC's web poll does that make you a gun activist?

It's a chance to screw with a set up, fake, feel good poll from a biased propaganda source.(they are way too biased to be considered news by anyone with a brain)

The liberal leftist propaganda media and the democrats did this poll to show that the "people" wanted something and are hoping this poll will sway others to do more illegal anti-gun legislation.

So we are trying to foil this bs by showing our strength in a pro gun way and have the results go complete opposite of what they wanted.

Don't know if the results will ever be publicized on the news... isn't looking good for the anti's agenda.

Here are the results as of 7:20 this morning:

    No. 87,922
    Yes. 26,089
    Not sure. 1,982
    Total Vote: 115,993

It kinda makes a guy nervous to see as many "yes" votes as ther are.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
